IT Field Product Specialist position is focused on the connection between our clients, Sales and Information Technology teams. The IT Field Product Specialist's job includes ensuring that the product supports the company's IT roadmap and strategies. There is local travel to client sites and on rare occasions travel to clients in the West Coast may be required. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to identify and implement value added services.
  • Prepare and distribute work detailed monthly, quarterly and yearly reports to clients
  • Submit client meeting reports to manager or supervisor
  • Recommend implementation of enhanced processes
  • Plan and schedule monthly meetings with clients
  • Initiate measures to research and resolve client raised issues.
  • Monitor client satisfaction through follow up on solving client issues and problems
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the business, as well as an understanding of how that impacts the other entities of contact.
  • Monitor, coordinate, and communicate the strategic objectives of the business
  • Work with other staff members to develop a greater understanding of the business and any issues that arise
  • Collect, analyze, and utilize data and feedback to identify opportunities to improve the relationship between the business and the other entity

  • 7-10 years' experience in a Healthcare IT environment, specifically EPIC EMR/LIS focus
  • Previous experience implementing

    Epic Applications within an enterprise environment for large Health Systems (both hospitals and clinics).

    Specific Epic experience desired:
    • Strong understanding of order transmittal rules
    • MRT testing requirements and validation
    • Hands on experience with EAP (orders) and LRR (results) builds
    • Epic Bridges (interface) error monitoring
  • Knowledge of patient registration and lab order workflow configurations
  • Experience as an Epic Applications Coordinator responsible for a reference lab interface desired
  • Minimum of 2 years project management experience
  • Med Tech/Lab experience desired
  • College Degree desired
  • Microsoft Office skills required
  • Cerner LIS experience desired
  • License/Certification/Education: Normally requires a B.S. Degree in Computer Science
