Robert Half is searching for an IT Support Analyst for a Transportation client based in Seattle and Kent, Washington. The primary responsibility of this IT Support Analyst is to be onsite support for the call center. Additionally, working with the end-users and the Infrastructure Support Team and responsible for the installation and maintenance of stand office hardware and software, including all employee workstations, printers, fax machines, etc. This is long-term contract to hire opportunity that would start 100% Onsite (about 4-6 weeks) then transition into a hybrid role (1-2 days/week remote, 3-4 days/week onsite). Additionally, Robert Half is able to offer a gas and commuting stipend to candidates to assist with commuting and transportation costs. Your responsibilities- Deliver all around systems, application and technical support
- Plans and coordinates installations and upgrades of software and hardware
- Performs break-fix, installation and maintenance of software and hardware on laptops, desktops, printers, scanners and time clocks
- Installs and maintains base networking equipment for both wired and wireless systems and ensures troubleshooting user network access across bases
- Coordinates with vendors to troubleshoot and rectify applications, systems and network issues
- Provides technical support for base supervisors and staff, drivers and road supervisors with all tablet functionalities and troubleshooting for DriverMate installs in vehicles
- Assess short- and long-term needs for the bases and provides recommendations as necessary
- Provides asset management and processes surplus equipment inventory for all bases on the contract
- Administers and coordinates user account issues, Active Directory permissions, distribution lists, application access and permissions
- Maintains site, conference rooms and training rooms to enable smoother operational functionalities
- Performs helpdesk duties as needed
- Works in coordination with the IT director and the rest of the IT staff on-site to take care of crisis situations as they arise
- Responsible for site and end-user support delivered through internal and external teams
- All other duties as assigned
- At least 2+ years of relevant IT experience primarily in a hands-on capacity
- Must have experience provide hands on and phone/remote support
- Must have experience troubleshooting complex end-user issues through resolution
- Experience with Windows 10 troubleshooting
- Familiar with Windows Servers; basic troubleshooting, connectivity, etc.
- Basic Office 365 troubleshooting skills
- Knowledgeable with Active Directory (user account management, password resets, etc.)
- Familiarity with Network connectivity troubleshooting
- Hands-on skills with office peripherals (printers, keyboards, mice, etc.)
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong initiative and collaboration skills
- NICE TO HAVE: Mobile Support (Android preferred), prior transportation industry experience, and/or experience with Dispatch and Scheduling applications like Trapeze
