(currently working from home full time, tentatively slated to return to office January 24th with expected in-office days of Tuesday-Thursday, and Monday’s and Friday’s being available to work remote.This position is the functional subject matter expert for the JD Edwards (JDE) financial, manufacturing, distribution applications. Consequently, this position requires a detailed understanding of the features and functionality of the JD Edwards applications and their integrations to other modules or applications. You will be responsible for supporting the JDE applications as well as leading business process improvements for various functional processes supported by JD Edwards. You will be required to work within IT as well as across the functional business groups in the definition of requirements, solution design, configuration, and implementation. This position is responsible for providing business analysis, support for existing applications, and assistance to business users in identifying and evaluating new systems, procedures, and computer-based tools. Duties may include various aspects of project management as well as business analysis, systems analysis, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of systems used to support business processes.

  • Document work procedures and business prerequisites
  • Assist peers and others in various activities, including consults with internal business users to identify information and process needs, and implementing solutions.
  • Evaluate Business Partner requirement issues and procedures to develop a solution or improve on a system
  • Consult with Business Partners on how to efficiently utilize technology
  • Participate in planning of business, evaluation and analysis of business risks and needs.
  • Write out thorough design requirements and conduct specifications evaluation.
  • Act as a connection between internal and external technology personnel.
  • Lead user acceptance testing such as organizing user testing sessions, creating detailed test plans and test cases, assess and document reports; settle issues and ascertain all correlated procedures, and ensure documentation is updated.
  • Actively participate and assist in fundamental requests to capture business partner needs.
  • Formulates requirement definition, documentation, and complicated functional requirements to acquire business necessities.
  • Interacts with vendors that may provide consulting, training, and support of enterprise applications.
  • Maintains general understanding of our computer systems.
  • Responsible for evaluating and assessing proposals generated to solve complex operational issues
  • Lead the full span of the SDLC from detailed business analysis, designing user interface design, writing business and technical documents
  • Evaluate process workflows for opportunities, reflecting interactions between all software within IT identifying how information is processed and what forms of communications are used.
  • Identifies metrics and gathers results to measure outcomes (operations and projects)

Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Information Systems – related area or equivalent combined experience.
  • 5-8 years’ work experience in business/systems analysis and support of enterprise-wide application systems preferred.
  • 6+ years’ experience with JDEdwards Enterprise One, with solid understanding on the Manufacturing/Procurement modules preferred
