Position Announcement: Juvenile Custody Officer – 2 positions (one male and one female)

Pursuant to union contract, this email is to advise all County Employees, the Chelan County Juvenile department has two full-time, Juvenile Custody Officer position open. Male and female candidates encouraged to apply

Salary: PW06 Steps 2-4 $4,201.57 - $4,588.65 Longevity Steps 5-8 $4,796.82 -$5,485.88

Summary

The Juvenile department seeks positive, personable, motivated and committed team members to apply for two full-time custody officer positions (one male and one female). These positions provide for facility safety and security and the care, programming, supervision, and transport of youth, as well as janitorial and kitchen duties and other duties as assigned. Work schedule may consist of variable shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Must have minimum of two years of college credit; practical experience or ability to read and speak fluently in both English and Spanish may be substituted for college. Please indicate in the cover letter if you are a current member of the PTC bargaining unit.
