James A. Sewell and Associates, LLC is currently recruiting for a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor or Land Surveyor in Training to support our Newport, Washington office.

The candidate shall be comfortable working with clients and team members on diverse land surveying projects, including but not limited to:

 Site Plans;

 Topos;

 Record of Surveys;

 Plats;

 Minor Subdivisions;

 Floodplain Elevation Certificates;

 Process Field Points;

 Construction Staking.

Desired qualifications include:

 Professional Land Surveyor License in Washington or Land Surveyor In Training Certificate required;

 Four year Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying field preferred;

 Recent AutoCAD Civil 3D drafting experience preferred;

 Experience with Robotic and GPS equipment preferred;

 Survey field crew experience preferred;

 Good communication skills;

 Attention to detail;

 Interest in learning and growing;

 Ability to work as part of a team.
