Lead & Assistant Child Care Teachers

Sonshine Learning Center is hiring for a full time, lead Toddler Teacher AND a part time Child Care assistant. If you are hard working, positive, and energetic, this could be the position for you!

Lead Toddler Position:

Full time

Works with 1-2 year olds

Assistant Position:

Part time

Approximately 15-20 hours a week

May work with children 1-5 years old

Minimum requirements for both roles:

18 years or older

Must love working with children

A willingness to learn and be a part of a team

Must have or be willing to get the following:

-TB test (before starting)

-CPR & First Aid card (within 30 days)

-Bloodborn Pathogens

-Cleared background check through MERIT (we can help with this after hire)

Lead Teachers are required to have an Early Childhood Certificate or obtain it within 5 years of hire. We are a part of Early Achievers, which can help provide support in obtaining the certificate.

We are open Monday through Friday, 7:00-5:30. Lead teacher schedules will be regular within the hours of 6:45am-6:00pm. Assistant schedules may vary.

Pay will be starting at minimum wage for assistant, and $17.00 - $18.50 for Lead, DOE.
