Description:

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Maintenance Technician to join our team at a large, well-maintained apartment community. The ideal candidate will be experienced in general maintenance and repairs, responsive to residents’ needs, and committed to keeping our community running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Perform daily maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and general repairs

Respond to and complete service requests in a timely manner

Conduct routine property inspections and preventative maintenance

Prepare apartments for new residents (make-readies)

Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of common areas and amenities

Participate in on-call rotation for emergency maintenance after hours

On call for after hour emergencies.

Requirements:

Prior maintenance experience, preferably in residential or multifamily housing

Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and HVAC systems

Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Must pass a background check

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent customer service and communication skills
