As the Manager, Production Planning you act in alignment with the company’s core values with management, leadership and development of the Planning Department. Success in this role is measured by clear communication of material availability to build plans, reduction of inactive and slow moving materials, and managing factors impacting the data accuracy of material transactions.The selected candidate will train, mentor and supervise the Planning team to ensure KPIs and metrics are met, facilitate team growth, and provide succession planning. Work alongside Purchasing Manager and Master Scheduler to support supply chain objectives. Implement world class practices the planning team can use to manage phase in/out conformance, reduction of inactive and slow moving materials, data cleansing, safety stock review, yield BOM review, and lead time review for manufacturing. Other duties as assigned.

Manager, Supply Chain Planning Team candidates should possess the following requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess 3-5 years of experience in Planning, Purchasing or Supply Chain. Over 6-8 years of overall experience. Possess a very strong understanding of planning functions within a manufacturing environment; master scheduling experience preferred. Proficient in managing and mentoring a department with a variety of skillsets.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Operations, or Supply Chain preferred. Manager or Supervisor Experience Preferred. Work independently while contributing to a team environment. Possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task effectively with solid judgement and prioritization skills. Proactively identify and act on problems before issues occur.Demonstrated problem solving and conflict resolution skills. Demonstrated organization skills. Ability to learn quickly from past experiences and able to use those experiences in handling new situations. Skilled in Microsoft Office and ERP Systems, with strong expertise in Excel. CPIM Certification preferred. Experience in Oracle and Agile systems preferred
