- Experience in Electromechanical Design Engineering in consumer electronics/products, medical devices, aerospace, or affiliated fields
- Experience in Plastics, Sheet metal casting & Machining parts /Assembly design
- Good skills in 3D concept development, 2D development drawings a must.
- Flexible circuit modeling and design
- ECAD/MCAD exchange
- Export, clean up and conform to ID surfaces
- Working knowledge of standard plastic and metal parts manufacturing and design constraints associated with fabrication
- Understand the customer requirements and suggest alternative feasible concepts.
- To have Knowledge for Aluminum CNC/ Plastic / Stamping / Bonding design or manufacture process
- Electromechanical Design to validate the form factor placement and stacking
- Co-work with HW for PCB design and EMC requirement
- Co-work with vendor/Internal Stake holder for thermal / antenna / speaker module designetc
- Co-work with key core team for design requirement
- Do Tolerance analysis for cosmetic gap / step and critical area assembly checking
- Do Risk assessment for assembly and mechanical function
- Work on Design concept and mockup sample preparation (placement / form factor /critical stacking / cable routing concept / weight estimation / material / assembly or tear down SOP / mockup schedule)
- Perform Mechanical quality failure analysis
- Design & risk assessment
- Mockup sample preparation.
- Mockup sample assembly.
- Teardown with any Electromechanical products or at any Manufacturing Factory
- Mechanical quality failure analysis.
- Able to own complete product lifecycle (from concept to manufacturing) and able to interact with stake holders to get signoff.
- BOM preparation, Manufacturing drawings & Drawing standard knowledge.
- Hands on experience in PDM tools.
- Strong knowledge in GD&T, Tolerance analysis
- Knowledge in Engineering Change Order Process & expertise in mechanical hardware selection.
