Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level or Experienced Staff Analyst to join our dynamic team in Tukwila, WA, Huntsville, AL, Oklahoma City, OK , Ridley Park, PA, Mesa, AZ, Hazelwood or Berkeley, MO.Position Responsibilities - Mid-Level :
High level written communication, PowerPoint, and other visual communication skills
Ability to take feedback and iterate designs based on guidance from peers and leadership
Develops and maintains standard supplier contractual terms, conditions, and special clauses and agreements
Analyzes and prepares reports to measure key supplier and internal performance indicators
Communicates strategic initiatives, projects or procurement activities
Establishes new processes and tools related to the design, planning and deployment of enterprise-wide projects/programs
Responsible for leading and coordinating staff actions with Senior Leadership
Ensures objectives are met by scheduling, de-conflicting, and prioritizing key tasks and proactively communicating leadership direction, guidance, and expectations for internal and external audiences
Works with Senior Management of Supply Chain to define and execute team operating rhythm and prepares for key meetings
Coordinates the design, logistics, and facilitation of BDS Supply Chain meetings/events; develops and consolidates executive-level briefings
Monitors and tracks project execution of related plans and communicates status
Forges relationships with counterparts across BDS and other Boeing Business Units to remove obstacles and solve problems
Possesses sound judgment and decision-making ability
Travel on an as-needed basis in support of, or with leadership or team
Completes special projects and ad hoc tasks, as assigned
Position Responsibilities – Experienced Level:In addition to all Mid Level responsibilities:
Leads cross-functional process management activities
Leads self-assessment and audit teams to identify and implement corrective action
Lead efforts to mitigate risk and resolve issues to high-risk programs
Leads development of processes and tools to measure key performance indicators
This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.This position is for 1st shift.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
More than 3 years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
More than 3 years of experience in supplier management or supply chain management
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Mid-Level 3: More than 3 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experienced Level 4: More than 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts
Experience working with analytics, data and spreadsheets to build presentations and make recommendations
Typical Education/Experience:Mid-Level 3: Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.Experienced Level 4: Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
