Another Source’s client, Sabey Corporation is recruiting a Network Operations Manager to join their team in Tukwila, Washington.

Summary:
As a Network Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing the network infrastructure for our data center services. You will be responsible for overseeing both Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) network systems, ensuring network security, and managing a team of network professionals. Your expertise will contribute to the company's mission of providing secure and efficient data center services to our clients.
Principal Accountabilities:
Network Architecture: Design and develop scalable and robust network architecture to support data center services and meet client requirements.
Network Security: Implement and maintain comprehensive network security measures, including firewalls, zero trust principles, defense in depth, and least privilege access.
Network Infrastructure Management: Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers and switches.
People Management: Lead and mentor a team of network professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to evaluate, select, and integrate cutting-edge network technologies and solutions. Manage vendor relationships and monitor service levels and performance.
System Backup and Replication: Develop and implement robust system backup and replication strategies to ensure data integrity, availability, and disaster recovery preparedness.
Policy and Procedure Creation: Develop and enforce network-related policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
Customer Security Assessments and Compliance: Navigate customer security assessments and compliance audits to demonstrate the company's commitment to security and regulatory requirements.
Incident Response and Troubleshooting: Provide expertise in handling network-related incidents and troubleshooting complex network issues to ensure smooth operations.
Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize network performance to deliver high-speed and reliable data center services.
Research and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in network architecture and security.
Essential Functions:
Continuously monitor network performance to ensure availability and reliability.
Perform regular maintenance and updates to network hardware and software.
Respond to network outages and performance issues promptly.
Troubleshoot and resolve network problems to minimize downtime.
Implement and maintain network security protocols to protect against cyber threats.
Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
Analyze network usage and plan for future capacity needs.
Optimize network performance through effective resource management.
Manage and mentor the network operations team.
Work with vendors to procure and maintain network equipment and services.
Communicate with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure network services meet business requirements.
Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, procedures, and incidents.
Generate regular reports on network performance and operational metrics.
Lead network infrastructure projects from planning to implementation.
Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Ensure network operations adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Implement best practices for network management and operations.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans.
Ensure network operations can quickly recover from disruptions.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or minimum 5 years field experience.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in network and systems administration and management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in network infrastructure technologies, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Strong understanding of network security principles, including zero trust, defense in depth, and least privilege access.
Experience with network monitoring and performance optimization tools.
Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and implementation.
Soft Skills:
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $118,548- $183,749.
