This role involves working at the end of the line lifting and staging doors, operating a forklift, and ensuring the safe movement of products. With opportunities for growth and development, this position is ideal for someone mechanically inclined or with hand and power tool experience.Responsibilities

Analyze and resolve work problems

Work with a team to create and build products

Palletize and prepare finished orders for shipment

Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Enact company policies and abide by safety regulations

Read and understand orders as received

Assemble pre-fabricated doors to meet work order specifications

Review all finished goods to ensure accuracy and quality of construction

Use power tools such as mills, saws, and joiners

Use pneumatic tools such as nail guns

Essential Skills

Forklift (Sit down) operation

Picking and pulling orders

Ability to lift up to 60+ lbs

Comfortable working outside

Experience with pallet jacks and material handling

Inventory management

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School diploma or GED

Ability to regularly lift/move/manipulate up to 60 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds

Ability to read, write, and communicate in English

Ability to perform all job functions safely

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to read a tape measurer accurately and consistently to 1/16”

Ability to read and interpret verbal instructions, diagrams, and safety documents

Strong problem-solving skills

1 year of experience with hand and power tools (Preferred)

Military experience preferred

Employees are required to wear steel-toed boots and will work M-F from 4:30PM to 1:00AM. No overtime for temporary workers, but once permanent, overtime may be about 5 hours a week.
