Join us, and find out how many ways Virginia Mason offers you the chance to focus on what really matters - your patients.This position uses occupational therapy expertise in the area of functional performance to assess a patient's level of independence, establish attainable goals, and develop/implement a patient-specific treatment plan so that patients are able to achieve their highest level of functioning for activities of daily living.QualificationsEntry Level I - Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapywith 6 month clinical internship.

Entry Level I - Washington state license as an Occupational Therapist.

Entry Level I - CPR certification.

Staff Level II - Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.

Staff Level II - Minimum 1 year work experience as an Occupational Therapist.

Staff Level II - FTE status .5 FTE or greater.

Staff Level II - Clinical Specialist or Senior Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Therapist.

Staff Level II - Department criteria as determined by the management team.

Working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, wound healing, and disease progression; an understanding of the base components, both physical and cognitive, of ADLs (assisted daily living) and levels of ADL independence.

The ability to customize, adapt, and graduate to a home or work site environment or to adapt to a given treatment plan and equipment.

Excellentorganizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
