RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Redmond, WA that is looking for an onsite Operations and Communications Manager. This is a full-time onsite role and no opportunity for remote work.Overview:We are looking for an experienced Operations and Communications Manager to plan and oversee a multitude of project management, studio communications and operational activities within a leading video game development studio. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have strong project management, communications and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and professionally at all levels. You must excel in a fast-moving environment to meet business deadlines.Responsibilities: Maintenance and creation of pages and resources for internal studio Confluence (Atlassian) site Lead in planning and writing of editorial content, as well as updates, for public-facing studio website Work closely with the management team to draft and distribute internal communications to studio staff (newsletters, presentations, etc.) Assist in new hire orientation and training efforts Project management, production, and execution of internal all-hands meetings Constantly evaluate operational functions and recommend methods to track and improve efficiency Support of diversity and inclusion programs within the studio in partnership with Quality-of-Life Program Manager Special projects as assignedREQUIREMENTS: BA/BS degree preferred 3-5 years of relative work experience; Game industry experience preferred Strong writing skillset and experience such as professional copywriting and/or editing Experience building, publishing, and troubleshooting in content management systems (CMS) Experience building pages and managing content in Confluence (Atlassian) to build team sites and documentation Experience producing large-scale remote meetings Experience building communications in Salesforce or comparable solution (Bananatag/Staffbase, etc.) Strong understanding of Microsoft products; Expertise in PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint Familiarity working in Photoshop and manipulating assets to support internal and external communication Outstanding communication and customer service skills Ability to lead multiple high-profile projects forward to drive results Must be detail oriented and have analytical problem-solving capabilities Ability to create effective relationships, influence, and collaborate with all organizational levels including outside vendors Excellent presentation and reporting skills to executive management Event coordination experience Self-starter who deals well with ambiguity Extremely self-motivated, strong ability to work with ambiguity under minimum supervision Heavy experience in writing for both internal and external large-scale audiences, program management and organization-wide communications is a mustPluses: Experience with driving onboarding/orientation programs is a plus Passion for games industry Experience working on charitable/philanthropic effortsKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
