The Operations Support Specialist, under minimal supervision, will be a self-directed individual capable of interpreting standards and specifications, policies and procedures and interfacing with multiple Tank Operations Contract (TOC) organizations to resolve issues.Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS) manages one of the most challenging radioactive waste cleanup projects in the country. Our focus is reducing the environmental risk posed by 56 million gallons of radioactive and chemical waste stored in 177 underground tanks on the Hanford Site located in Richland, WA. Coordinate, monitor, and implement an effective metric program, ensuring measurement of performance is accurate.

Develop and maintain measurement software tools.

Provide data management Subject Matter Expert (SME) level support in the development of metrics (department/company/executive levels).

Produce metric report/packages for review by senior management.

Provide guidance on data analysis and corrective actions to drive performance improvement, as applicable.

Perform data validation.

Ability to interpret and understand information from multiple sources, evaluate the credibility of multiple concepts and ability to analyze data and issues.

Identifies areas of potential improvement within the metric program.

Proven ability to communicate with subject matter experts, peers, management, support organizations and stakeholders.

Provides verbal/written reports, formal presentations, and recommendations to immediate management and/or DOE-ORP.

Demonstrate complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts.

Interface with and support the Trend program through coordination and development of performance metrics, as applicable.

Participate in corrective action development and timely closure of actions.

Supports the Requirements Management Program, including the implementation of requirements in administrative and/or technical procedures.

Supports the development of Lessons Learned as a result of identified issues.

Interface with other groups within the facility, department, and site in support of CAS.

Participates in assessments, event investigation activities, and/or cause analysis, as needed.

Develops and maintains training, as applicable.

Required QualificationsGrade 17:Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in related field and 6-7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.Grade 18:Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in related field and 8 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.Note the essential duties for this grade level are like that of the previous grade level, however the scope of responsibility is larger, and the expected level of performance is increased.Grade 19:Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in related field and 9 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.Note the essential duties for this grade level are like that of the previous grade level, however the scope of responsibility is significantly larger, and the expected level of performance is greatly increased.Desired Qualifications

Hanford Site experience preferred.

Prior experience with Contractor Assurance Systems preferred.

Experience in databases and other data systems to create computer-generated reports.

Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Adobe Pro, Visio, and PowerBI.
