The individual would be outgoing, and team focused to support implementation of the document control and records process across the organization. The Operations Support Specialist is responsible for working in multidisciplinary team environments, using excellent written and verbal skills to support the Industrial Hygiene (IH) technical processes. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Lead the document control and records process within IH to ensure maintenance of records are accurate; in accordance with applicable Records Inventory and Disposition Schedules (RIDS).Ability to evaluate, develop, deploy, and support records to capture methodologies and solutions related to the records management processes.Comprehensive knowledge of the Records Management Lifecycle and its applicationSupports administration of the Required Reading program, as required by DOE O 5480.19. Interfaces with management to address adequacy, timeliness, and completeness of facility required reading assignments.Coordinate implementation of IH programs and technical procedures and site forms in compliance with the local, state, and federal agencies to support worker safety.Supports development and preparation of reports and provides presentation of findings. Could include preparation of maps, drawings, and other graphics.Proficient technical skills for a wide range of software, including records and configuration control management systems.Participates and/or leads assessments.Effectively communicate, both verbal and written, with team members, management, and customersHighly organized and detail oriented with strong follow-up skills to manage large volumes of documentation.Substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.Customer service oriented, with ability to work professionally and collaboratively across multiple contractors and organizations.Perform other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsGrade 16:Bachelors degree (BA/BS) in related field;Five (5) years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.Grade 17:Bachelors degree (BA/BS) in related field;Six (6) years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.-Note the essential duties for this grade level are like that of the previous grade level, however the scope of responsibility is larger, and the expected level of performance is increased.Grade 18:Bachelors degree (BA/BS) in related field;Eight (8) years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.-Note the essential duties for this grade level are like that of the previous grade level, however the scope of responsibility is significantly larger, and the expected level of performance is greatly increased.Desired QualificationsBackground in business management, accounting and/or communications is highly desired.Experience with technical writing.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills needed to facilitate project milestones.
