Job Title: PackerJob DescriptionOur organization is seeking a dedicated Packer to join our team. This position is based in a metal distribution warehouse catering to the aerospace industry. As a Packer, you will prepare custom orders for shipping, which includes wrapping and banding items to pallets and boxing smaller parts. You'll also receive forklift certification and assist with loading orders into trucks. Other duties include operating packing equipment such as crosscut saws, nail guns, staple guns, banding equipment, and stenciling equipment. Quality inspection of orders, material inspection, and gaining knowledge of specs such as grade, tempers, and alloy are also part of your responsibilities. Daily housekeeping tasks such as sweeping floors, picking up trash, and keeping tools clean will also be expected.Hard Skills

Job TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Spokane, Washington.Work EnvironmentThe work environment is a 63,000 sq ft production facility that is clean, organized, and spacious, allowing for efficient forklift operation. We pride ourselves on our excellent company culture that encourages feedback for improving process efficiency and safety. There is no director level leadership here, which offers flexibility and the opportunity to integrate your own processes and ways of doing things.
