This is accomplished through identifying, resolving, and preventing drug related problems.QualificationsA Pharm D or B.S. in Pharmacy with relevant practice experience.

Working knowledge of all aspects of pharmaceutical care.

Ability to prepare a patient work-up and retrieve relevant patient and lab data.

Excellent pharmacokinetic skills.

Ability to operate a computer.

Excellent communication skills.

Extensive knowledge of drug therapy, monitoring, dosing, and disease treatment.

Ability to supervise others.

Ability to attend to detail.

Working knowledge of Federal and State pharmacy laws.

Ability to review and assess medical literature.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational skills.

Licensure requirements:A Washington State Board of Pharmacists.

Preceptor license.

15 hours of Board of Pharmacy approved continuing education credits per year.
