Our compensation and benefits are very competitive, and our low physician turnover rates with high physician satisfaction scores reflect The Everett Clinic as one of the Northwest’s most sought-after organizations.Medical Hospitalist and Palliative Care ConsultantSeeking a BC/BE physician in palliative care and internal medicine to work with a growing inpatient service at a vibrant 500-bed safety-net community hospital in Everett, Washington, about 30 miles north of Seattle. The team is composed of 80+ providers. The hospital has a robust multidisciplinary staff that supports all inpatient work, including subspecialists, pharmacists, social workers, respiratory and physical therapists, etc. This position enjoys a hospitalist schedule of 14-17 shifts per month, with no more than 3 night shifts per year. This position would work approximately half of these shifts as a palliative care consultant and the other half of these shifts as a medical hospitalist and would work occasionally with residents in both positions.The palliative consult team consists of other hospitalists with expertise in palliative care who rotate through the service, as well as an RN and Social worker. The team offers consultative palliative support to the ICU and other services. The hospitalist team has received regular palliative care trainings and are extremely supportive of the big picture palliative philosophy.The Everett community is socio-economically diverse, and the successful applicant would have a lively curiosity about people from different backgrounds and desire to understand patients and their families’ communities.The Medical Hospitalist Team is very well-supported with strong relationships with its ICU, ER, subspecialists and hospice colleagues.This community hospital has deep ties to both the University of Washington with a long tradition of teaching medical students as well as the Washington State University, now serving as a principal training site for both the internal medicine residency program and third-year medical students.Our providers enjoy a balanced lifestyle that allows them to explore the natural beauty here, travel abroad, spend time with family, and also practice excellent evidence-based medicine with fascinating patients in a supportive environment.With The Everett Clinic you will experience:

BC/BE Internal Medicine

BC/BE Palliative Care

Unrestricted WA Medical License

Washington Residents Only: The salary range for Washington residents is $268,290 to $355,100. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement.
