In this role, you will make decisions regarding resources, timing, scope, priorities, risks, and opportunities, as well as coordinate with other teams to ensure support of the portfolio of projects.

You’ll be empowered to make decisions regarding resources, timing, scope, priorities, risks, and opportunities, as well as coordinate with other teams to ensure support of the portfolios. In this role you’ll be accountable for managing multiple projects to help the enterprise meet goals and objectives and will deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Source, design, execute, monitor, and report on a defined portfolio of complex, multiyear projects that require collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders and partners.
  • Collaborate with management to assess objectives and outcomes of both proposed and active projects.
  • Draft and/or revise internal and external communications related to project goals and objectives including concept documents, executive summaries, vendor contracts, project reporting and other communications.
  • Seek innovative solutions for complex problems regarding access to affordable housing, housing stability, racial equity and the impact on the economic mobility, health, and education of communities across the country.
  • Accountable for team operations including budgeting and financial management, creating and updating procedures and protocols, scheduling and meeting logistics and reporting.
  • Keep up to date on relevant research, news, and industry communications regarding the challenges to and solutions for racial equity in housing.
  • Develops deep knowledge and expertise of affordable housing and sustainable communities with a particular focus on ESG, racial equity, economic mobility, health and education.

Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences: 4+years

Desired Experiences:Bachelor degree or equivalent

  • Broad knowledge of the housing industry with specific focus affordable housing.
  • Experience managing multiple complex projects in a timely and cost-effective manner; able to drive delivery execution; demonstrated accountability for work products and outcomes
  • Demonstrated successes influencing key stakeholders to drive successful outcomes that meet key goals and objectives.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate and negotiate through proactive engagement to meet aggressive timelines.
  • Experience with setting budgets, financial forecasts and budget management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and good business judgment.
  • Experience developing departmental strategies and business plans.
  • Collaborative working style and a willingness to contribute to all aspects of team's work product.
  • Strong communication skills, including ability to write clearly and persuasively about business topics, and effective presentation skills for both internal and external audiences.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Adept at office technologies, particularly Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
  • Understanding of affordable housing issues.
