Preschool Summer Camp Counselor

Hutch Kids Child Care Center provides care for infants, toddlers, and preschool aged children. We are seeking experienced candidates for the position of Summer Camp Counselor.

As a whole and within each classroom, we consider ourselves a community of learners Low classroom ratios allow for the development of secure, lasting relationships between children, caregivers, and families. Hutch Kids is accredited by NAEYC and participates in Early Achievers.

Our Summer Camp program serves our graduating children who are heading to kindergarten in the fall. Children and Teachers are out and about in the community at local parks and on fieldtrips in and outside of Seattle for most of the day. Our Summer Camp teacher works as a team with the Summer Camp Coordinator and Summer Camp Teacher. If you are looking for a summer full of fun, this is the job for you!

Strong candidates will be patient and professional, with a child-centered philosophy of how children learn and grow. Must be a team player and love all children. Some college credits or CDA a preference. Must be able to work Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm.

This position is temporary from July 8 through August 30. There will be 1-5 days of onboarding paperwork and training in June, days/times flexible

Salary for this position is $22/hour.
