DescriptionWork on a hybrid agile development team to reimagine continuous improvement (CI) mechanisms at scale through the latest digital technologies. In this role you will bring new CI related solutions to life, expand existing features globally, and play an integral role in delivering multi-generational product growth across Amazon and the global business community.Key job responsibilitiesAs a Principal PMT, you will drive the vision for these world class solutions and manage the teams that will execute and deliver on those visions. These solutions are critical to the success of business units across Amazon globally from both a near-term and long-term standpoint. This position requires a proactive, highly motivated and experienced PMT with an aptitude for critical thinking, invention and simplification, design thinking, systems thinking, communications, thriving in ambiguity and opportunity rich spaces, influencing evolving tech architectures, continuous improvement, and has a demonstrable history of building and growing critical enterprise level software. You will develop the vision, tenets, strategy, and roadmap for a variety of new and existing product features, while contributing to the multi-generational product strategy. This will include interacting with business leaders and technical resources to identify enhancements, prioritize work streams, research, influence technical infrastructure and architectures, and manage iterative product development. You will work backwards continuously with customers, plan continuously, experiment, and scale features to expand value You will be juggling multiple high complexity, high value, and high visibility product initiatives simultaneously on a global scale across business organizations. You will help the product transition more completely into AWS cloud and SaaS - developing high quality, reliable, and scalable technology services and solutions to enable next level product maturity.This position will sit in either Denver, Bellevue, Austin or Nashville with relocation available if needed.A day in the life

Bachelor's degree

10+ years of technical product or program management experience

Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

Experience developing mobile / internet products and technologies

Experience with SaaS applications and infrastructure as code.

Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent experience.

Agile certification or equivalent experience.

Strong oral/written communications and influence up to senior level leaders.

Experience in opportunity rich, highly ambiguous product spaces.

The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market.
