- Perform requirements management planning for medium to large scale projects
- Lead business analysis across multiple parallel initiatives
- Gather and document functional and non-functional requirements
- Facilitate and drive requirements gathering sessions

- Help or facilitate process improvement and/or process mapping sessions

- Define, and update documentation tools such as business terminology stored in the master business glossary and data dictionaries
- Mentor less seasoned business analysts
- Investment data knowledge: Master data, pricing, valuation, holding, transaction, accounting
- Data Management, Data Model, Data Mapping and Database structure
- Stakeholder management (large number of stakeholders)
- Business knowledge – Wealth Management Distribution, Financial Marketing, Mutual Fund Administration (revenue, expenses)
- Writing, document, presentation and communication
- Development - SQL, informatica, ETL process
- Investment product knowledge: fixed income, equity, loan, private, real estate, commitments
- Investment Management system specific knowledge across different platforms inclusive of securities, derivatives, IBOR, etc.
- Project management and planning
- Capable of applying knowledge to handle all but the most complex problems and scenarios independently
- Data Reporting
- Managing difficult conversations
- Dealing with ambiguity
- Competent to work at the highest technical level of most phases of business and/or systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment
- Experienced in agile, iterative project techniques including Scrum; experience with Jira is a plus
- Experienced in Waterfall methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to partner with investment personnel to elicit and advance requirements
- Experience working with Investment-focused projects, preferred
- Working knowledge of investment credit or market risk, preferred
- Seasoned individual capable of handling broad scope projects that have medium to long-term focus
- Demonstrated ability to understand how tasks and milestones collaborate and connect together across related projects.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Candidates must combine an attention to detail with the ability to see the big picture
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively using verbal and written methods
- Proficient with standard documentation tools (Visio, Excel, Word)
