You will hold responsibility for a specific project/region/business. You will deliver tactical activities of purchasing goods and services, from defined contracts with stated terms and conditions. You will negotiate midsize value contracts, while meeting internal customer objectives for maximum overall cost effectiveness. You will directly interact with your internal stakeholders and with external vendors. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Buy government sourcing parts

Place purchase orders for FAR15 requirements

Support Government customers

Identify cost reduction opportunities.

Adhere to FAR/FDAR regulations

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.This position is open to all Aerospace sites across the U.S.YOU MUST HAVE

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

1-2 Government contracting experience

In depth experience and expertise with MRP/ERP Systems

Must be a US citizen due to contractual agreements

WE VALUE

Knowledge of Government regulations (FAR/DFAR)

Knowledge of purchasing systems

Aerospace or military industry experience

Strong communication skills both written and oral

Strong team player

Good organizational skills - ability to prioritize and perform thorough work, problem solver

Negotiation skills

English fluent, any other language is a plus
