Duties include, but are not limited to:
Oversee the production flow and manage team trainings on procedures overall activities.
Print customer orders, work tickets, post validations and spec notes to ensure proper distribution of daily work load and timely processing of orders
Assign tasks, train assigned employees and assure quality and productivity within required standards and established procedures.
Substantial understanding and knowledge of all department functions, in order to assign tasks and handle the more complex issues and duties.
Assist in the development of other employees in the department in the various tasks, including training new employees.
Resolve day-to-day product and order difficulties encountered in regular operations.
Communicate issues and concerns to Supervisor, ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders
Perform QC duties as needed for the various product lines and apply the applicable Quality Procedure.
Perform other tasks assigned and duties, such as lower level positions within the department and help other departments as needed.
Physical ability to transport objects typically weighing up to 50 lbs.
May be required to perform several and/or combination of the following tasks such as to lift, carry, push, pull, sit, stand, walk, kneel, squat, bend, twist, reach, grasp and/or work with small objects.
May be required to stand and/or walk for considerable (8+ hours) periods. Extended work hours may be required, including weekends and holidays to meet customer orders.
Role Purpose:
Track team day-to-day production activities such as goals, deadlines, quality, output, and performance.
The Team Lead will perform under the direction and supervision of the Production Supervisor.
She/he will assign and distribute tasks to team members as outlined by the Sensitech work instructions, quality assurance procedures and assembly drawings.
Minimum Requirements:
Prefer: AA/AS/AAS degree or Higher
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Comply with the EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules and requirements
Report to supervision conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment, to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards
Attend scheduled EH&S training program
Actively support the organization’s efforts to meet or exceed EH&S goals and plans
Recommend improved EH&S practices.
Department specific EH&S responsibilities such as Cardinal Rules, PPE, MSDS labeling, ladder safety, ergonomics, evacuation, etc.
