Volt has an exciting onsite opportunity in Everett, Washington for a Product Development Engineer contract role!This company creates new products, services, and experiences from emerging technologies and human aspirations for a better world.Provide support for new product introduction to manufacturing. Self-checks and reviews all designs and drawings prior to final release to checking. You will design procedures, fills out required forms and close all actions associated with internal and customer design processes.Job Requirements:Should possess a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline required.- Two or more years related experience in one or more of the following: Heavy Machine Design, Structural Design, or Tooling Design of consumer products.
- General background in manufacturing and machine shop capabilities.
- Manufacturing and machine shop background or relevant experience preferred.
- CAD Software Knowledge:
- Strong background in Stress Analysis Strong background in Shock and Vibration Analysis
- CATIA V5, NX or Equivalent software knowledge (Solid works, Pro E, etc.)
