Product Manufacturing Position at Olympic Reef, LLC

Our company is growing very quickly, and hiring reliable, professional employees to expand our operation.We have available positions Monday through Friday shifts: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm and are located in Lacey, Washington, just off the I-5 corridor.We run a tight ship, but we have a lot of fun doing it. We do extraordinary things together, and if you join us the following is required:ESSENTIALS· You must be at least 21 years of age – no exceptions.· You must be able to reliably arrive on time, every time.· You must have mechanical skills/aptitude and be able to use light machinery, printers and labeling machines.· You must be able to complete repetitive tasks quickly and accurately – think fine motor skills in a fast pace production process that has multiple steps such as order picking.· You must have an eye for detail to ensure that no defective units and/or sub-assemblies ever leave the building.· You must be able to follow directions and adapt as circumstances warrant.· You must be willing to learn new things and cross train to strengthen the team.· You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.· You must be able to accurately count, add, subtract, multiply, and divide. You get bonus points if you can do fractions and decimals correctly.· You must be professional. Treat your co-workers with dignity, respect, and kindness. We don’t tolerate bad behavior.· You must pass a thorough background check.HIGHLY DESIRABLE· Problem solving skills – finding ways for us to improve our production process is actively encouraged & financially rewarded. When we save, you get bonuses.· Computer skills – Always a plus but not mandatory.· A desire to learn – you may not know anything about our industry, but we can teach you.· A sense of pride that comes from a job well done and contributing to our mutual success. It’s a team thing, remember?· Not afraid to use common sense. Its less common than you think.· Be comfortable with other physical activities like sitting, standing, stretching, and bending depending on the tasks needing to be done.· +1 year of related product production experience is preferred but not required.If you don’t have all of the above, it’s cool – we have multiple positions and needs so don’t feel discouraged. Not every position requires every skill, and we’ll match your strengths to our needs while giving you an arena to create new skills and improve the ones you already have.COMPENSATION· 90 Day probationary period to ensure it’s a good fit for the both of us.· Starting pay for the probationary period: $17.00/hr.· Pay range: $17.00 to $20.00/hr. based on demonstrated aptitude, attitude, communication skills, punctuality, and leadership potential.· Bonuses for helping us improve process efficiencies, hitting production targets, and eliminating both product and order errors.· Contests, giveaways, and prizes happen frequently.· Monthly allocation of merchandise samples (we actively encourage input on new product ideas).· Raises and responsibilities come fast if you have the right skill set and build a reliable performance track record.· Additional weekend and overtime work have been known to happen but are not required.· · Health and retirement plans: not yet, but we are getting closer to being able to provide these benefits.If this sounds like a good fit, we encourage you to email us your résumé and let us know when you can be available for a phone interview.
