DescriptionProject Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.Key job responsibilitiesAmazon is seeking a bright, friendly, customer-obsessed and self-motivated Program Manager to join its Project Kuiper Team. They will also be a detail oriented planner with the demonstrated ability to communicate and respond effectively and efficiently while maintaining flexibility, a sense of humor, and most importantly grace under pressure.Finally, the ideal candidate will be someone who is ready to build a deep and trusting, long-term professional relationship our leaders. The Program Manager will be a key player of the team with the opportunity to take on special projects with increased responsibility.Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Management of complex calendar and scheduling requirements.

Schedule cost effective air/hotel/ground transportation

Create a detail travel itineraries (including smooth transitions between time zones).

Complete and file expense reports; utilizing both domestic and international currencies.

Drive team activities (including org-wide meetings, social outings, and other key logistics).

Identify and coordinate most productive and cost effective method for meetings including in person, on-site, audio conferences (international stateside and local) and video conferences.

Close collaboration with departmental peers.

Responsible for all space planning activities within the organization.

Ability to work independently with minimal direction.

Serve as a business partner ensuring strategic, proactive and thoughtful support of the business cycle.

3+ years of program or project management experience

3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Management of complex calendar and scheduling requirements.

Schedule cost effective air/hotel/ground transportation

Create a detail travel itineraries (including smooth transitions between time zones).

Complete and file expense reports; utilizing both domestic and international currencies.

Drive team activities (including org-wide meetings, social outings, and other key logistics).

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

3+ years of driving process improvements experience

Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
