Project Manager 3 (Non-IT)

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, Organizational Development (or closely related field) is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• With an applicable bachelor’s or master’s degree, 10 years of experience is required.
• Experience should include direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution. Project management experience in the electric utility sector with an emphasis on transmission assets is preferred.

• Experience with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.

• PMI or PMP certification.
• Experience in Asset Management and Resource planning.
• Familiarity with ISO 5500x and the Institute of Asset Management.
• Experience and background in defining, evaluating, and recommending plans for asset management capabilities.
• Experience with business requirements gathering and data architecture.
• Familiarity with systems thinking - the ability to see how parts interact with the whole (big picture thinking).
• Ability to assimilate business goals and strategies; ability to understand goals and strategies as applied to business plans and objectives.
• Ability to document and classify the processes the business performs, critical to the demand and capacity advancement.
• Problem solving and root cause identification skills.
