Public Sector Deal Desk SpecialistJob DescriptionAn opportunity to join an entrepreneurial, fast-changing environment supporting our Sales organization. You'll partner with multiple internal groups including Sales, Finance, Legal, Product Management and Field Sales Operations to support deals and help drive the expansion of the Global Deal Desk team and processes.Your proven business acumen, financial analytics and project management skills will help you build and maintain strong working relationships with our sales teams, and become very visible at the highest levels of our business. As our business is growing quickly; success in the position is valued and rewarded amongst our leadership, and we can provide genuine opportunities to progress your career.ResponsibilitiesAdvise the sales team/ management on deal strategy and structureRespond to inquiries, provide guidance for quote and contract processes, assisting with the structure of deals, and advising on standard quote terms structureCollect data and information to further standardize the deal formation process. Identify opportunities to automate elements of the deal deskIdentify repeat questions or gaps from the field team and facilitate training sessions for Reps and Sales ManagersEngage cross-functional leaders in the development and socialization of new pricing and product configuration strategies, including Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Services and Finance, collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure buy-in and successful implementationIdentify and recommend policy and process improvements to enhance the effectiveness of deal structure, exception processes and ultimately decrease deal cycle timeWork with finance and order management to help move orders to closure and mitigate issues for deals that are stuck in order management
