The Recruiting Assistant is responsible for helping put people to work, helping them get ahead, and connecting their skills to clients.
The assistant will provide support in the full cycle recruitment process while providing an exceptional experience and service to our candidates, associates, and clients.
Your Typical Day and Other Key Details:
Source and attract candidates using a variety of methods such as job postings, social media, networking events, referrals, and outreach campaigns.
Review resumes and applications to identify potential candidates that meet the position's qualifications and requirements.
Conduct initial phone screens and interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and fit for the role.
Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates, senior recruiters and hiring managers.
Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the recruitment process, including interview preparation and post-interview feedback.
Maintain data in applicant tracking system.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm – minimal overtime now and then
Qualifications:
Required -
Previous experience working in a customer service capacity whether over the phone or in person
Previous experience working in an office support capacity
Strong computers skills
Working knowledge of MS Office applications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have but not required -
Previous recruiting or human resources experience
Associate or bachelor’s degree
Technical: Experience or exposure in an Applicant Tracking System (e.g. Taleo, Avature, JobApp, Bullhorn)
