About the Role

As a member of our staff, you will be a key player in creating a memorable experience for our guests. You will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, primarily focusing on our extensive selection of tequilas, craft cocktails, and local taps, all while maintaining a fun, clean, and welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

Beverage Preparation: Expertly prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, with a specialty in agave-based drinks and maintaining knowledge of our draft beer selection.

Customer Service: Greet guests warmly, take drink and food orders accurately, answer questions about our menu, and provide personalized recommendations.

Cash Handling: Accurately process payments using our POS system

Bar Maintenance: Ensure the bar area is clean, well-stocked, and organized before, during, and after shifts, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Teamwork: Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

Compliance: Verify customer identification and monitor alcohol consumption to ensure responsible service (MAST permit required).

Qualifications & Skills

Experience: Previous experience (1+ year preferred) working as a Bartender or Barback in a high-volume restaurant or bar setting.

Knowledge: Knowledge of mixology, with a genuine interest in tequila and mezcal, is a significant plus!

Certifications: Must possess a valid MAST (Mandatory Alcohol Server Training) Permit and Food Handler's Permit (or be willing to obtain them immediately upon hire).

Personality: Energetic, friendly, and professional demeanor with excellent communication skills.

Work Ethic: Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and work effectively during peak hours.

Availability: Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
