Description:$10,000 bonus offered to external applicants!Providence is calling a Registered Nurse (RN) (Night Shift, 0.8 FTE) to support Transitional Care at Providence Mount St. Vincent in West Seattle, Washington. Applicants that meet qualifications will receive a text with some additional questions from our Modern Hire system.You will provide direct patient care to short stay, sub-acute patients upon discharge from the hospital as well as long term care residents.Enteral Tube feedings

Maintenance of IV lines (Midline, PICC, Port of Cath)

Tracheostomy Care

Wound Care (wound vacs, drains, dressing changes)

Palliative and End of Life care

Educating patients, families and staff on disease processes

Qualifications:Required qualifications for this position include:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Washington State

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (New hires must obtain within 30 days of hire)

Food Handler’s Permit (New Hires must obtain within 14 days of hire)

Strong communication skills

Preferred qualifications for this position include:Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)

Experience in Long Term care

Supervisory experience with nursing assistants (NAC’s).

Experience with an interdisciplinary team.

Demonstration of leadership skills with the ability to coordinate a team

Ability to function at a high level of autonomy while partnering closely with interdisciplinary team members including Physicians, ARNPs, Nursing Assistants, Therapists and Social Workers
