In this role, you have the opportunity to:

As a PACS Application Consultant, you will serve in a consultative role with the customer throughout solution delivery & implementation of our PACS solutions to provide for a smooth, effective and successful implementation.

You are responsible for:
  • Conducts workflow analysis and consults on workflow changes that need to occur with the implementation of new functionality or solutions
  • Analyzes the customer's existing workflow and facilitates proper change management in the clinical or operational environment, ensures proper testing of the system and establishes a comprehensive training plan to provide for a smooth transition of the solution to the customer
  • Delivers clinical consulting services which may or may not be in combination with the implementation of a Philips solution
  • Coaches and educates customers in the use of multiple solutions for complex situations
  • Guides the customer in the testing of workarounds, clinical integration and new functionality of Philips solutions
  • Configures or manages the configuration of Philips solutions to accommodate PACS application and/or operational workflow in the customer's environment
  • Attends seminars and training sessions necessary to maintain appropriate level of professional competence and/or licensure
  • Identify application issues, investigate and resolve issues or identify potential defects, document and submit those according to standard processes
  • Active member of the application, education & Application communities and proactively shares knowledge, experience and lessons learned
  • Files required reports and consistently complies with all required Philips processes

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
  • 5+ years of PACS implementation experience required
  • AART/ASRT certifications highly-desired
  • Strong knowledge of various hospital workflows
  • Strong consultative personality and training background
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience of working in a production environment against prescribed Standard operating procedures.
  • Capacity to travel extensively.
