Role: SAP FICO Functional QA Location: Issaquah Duration: 6 Months It's an ONSITE position Description: looking for an experienced SAP FICO Functional QA for an SAP implementation project. The consultant will be working with one of the leading Wholesale retailers in the US. The ideal candidate should have the ability to work independently and analytically in a problem-solving environment. The ideal candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and know-how to collaborate effectively with domain experts and the IT leadership team. Essential Functions: Designs, develops and conducts test plans for functional unit tests, regression tests, and system integration tests Performs analysis on error incidents and system errors Interfaces with SAP and non-SAP technical teams for technical specifications and development of customized objects Provides support for SAP applications, including integration points with other SAP modules and non-SAP applications to ensure business processes are maintained in a non-disruptive manner Adheres to the team and departmental development standards Demonstrates a logical and structured approach to time management and task prioritization Demonstrates excellent communication skills Full-Time onsite position (At client site on all working days) Experience, skills, education & licenses/certifications Required: Specific focus is on Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO), and Process Integration areas of SAP. Good knowledge of implementation processes in SAP Financials for the Retail industry Ability to be proactive and can assume full responsibility for module development activities Strong understanding of standard SAP functionalities in finance modules Experience in implementing and supporting SAP RICEFW Objects Must have a strong focus on customer needs Strong conceptual, analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and resolution skills Self-motivated, flexible, and open to learning Must have the ability to work with limited supervision and exhibit a strong sense of urgency Experience in successful project implementation Recommended: General understanding of accounting processes and principles General understanding and knowledge of SAP ERP, HCM, or CRM Hands-on experience in performing functional configuration of SAP FICO, Shared Service Framework, and/or Vistex Knowledgeable in integration points between various SAP modules and Integration with external systems Awareness or experience with SAP roadmap for S4 and HANA Understanding of testing tools, e.g., HP ALM
