Security Guard

Tacoma Yacht Club has an immediate position for a professional and customer service focused security guard to protect our Tacoma Yacht Club’s property, assets, and personnel.

We are looking primarily for night shift (10pm-6am) on the weekends.

Responsibilities:

-Protect property, staff and members against fire, theft, vandalism and unauthorized entry of the premises.

-Monitor and control access to the entry gates.

-Conduct scheduled patrol rounds of the property and ensure all buildings and property assets are secured.

-Take accurate notes and report in detail of any unusual or suspicious occurrences.

-Notify the proper authorities in case of a fire, emergency, or illegal activities.

-Maintain courteous disposition to our members.

Skills/Requirements:

-Outstanding customer service skills

-Must have reliable transportation

-Must be able to work nights and weekends.

-Must be 18 years of age or older as required by applicable law

Position is part-time. Pay is $18/hr and increases to $20/hr after one year.

Expected hours: No more than 24 per week

Schedule: Night shift
