North 40 Outfitters in Spokane, WAis looking to hire aFull-Time Security Patrol Associateto join our team.We believe that each team member plays a vital role in the success of our company. As a Security PatrolAssociateat North 40,you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our properties.As a Security Patrol Associate at North 40 Outfitters, your day will involve ensuring the safety and security of our properties. You will be responsible for monitoring assigned sites in person, both on foot and in vehicles, checking for hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, and unauthorized persons. You will control access to the site and facility, preserving orders and enforcing regulations pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. You will be responsible for identifying trespassers and safety concerns, responding to incidents of fire or burglary alarm calls at assigned sites during assigned shifts, and protecting evidence or a scene of an incident in case of accidents, emergencies, or investigations. Additionally, you will prepare and submit logs and reports, and communicate with Loss Prevention, store management, or law enforcement officials as necessary. Your role will involve preventing financial loss through external theft, fraud, or property damage, as well as providing security for real property, products, buildings, fixtures, and landscapes. You will be required to maintain a professional demeanor at all times and follow established protocols and procedures.This full-time position will vary between the days of Monday -Sunday, and hours of 7 pm to 7 am with the exceptions for unique events during business hours as needed. Must be willing to travel in the Spokane area.

Expertise in assistingthe store team in promptly completing the required paperwork associated with incidents

Contribute to team effort by communicating consistently and thoroughly, presenting applicable reports and relevant data, and carrying out other assignments as directed

Advanced knowledge of and familiarity with North 40 Outfitters’ safety policies, customer service policies, Loss Prevention policies, EAS approach policies, and store opening and closing policies

Proficiency in computer skills, (specifically Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook) as well as strong skills incoordinating correspondence, keeping records, reporting, and carrying out similar tasks

Must have an understanding of the general business functions including a basic working knowledge of retail policies and procedures.

Must maintain strict privacy and discretion regarding employee and company information/data or sharing information only with the individuals, or specified function or contact including refraining from gossip and or perpetuating information that could be construed as such

Must possess meticulous attention to details and elements in all aspects of work projects and tasks as well as a commitment to ensuring that all work tasks are brought to fruition no matter the time requirements

Must provide consistent and thorough written and verbal communication with all team members inside and outside of your immediate team, at any level, and proper business communication with coworkers and customers

Must have strong problem-solving skills

Must have and maintain a current Driver’s License and follow all North 40 Outfitters vehicle use and maintenance standards

Physicalability to work the entire shift on your feet as needed; lifting 50 lbs. on an occasional to repetitive basis, bending, stooping, and climbing ladders

Ability to stay awake and alert working overnight shifts
