Oly Float & The Soul Space is a healing arts center focused on stress management and central nervous system recovery through a variety of modalities, including Floatation Therapy, Massage, Infrared Sauna, Skin Care, Intuitive Counseling, Energy Work, Craniosacral Therapy, Hypnotherapy, Somatic Coaching, and more. We are best known as the home of Oly Float, our floatation therapy business, but have gained an outstanding reputation for our body work and counseling work too.

We're seeking an excellent human being to join our massage and body work team and work alongside our other outstanding practitioners in providing the best massage care in the Olympia.

SCHEDULE

We are open 8am to 9pm every day but Mondays. We currently have 30-40 hours a week of availability in our massage calendar. It's a requirement that you be willing to work some weekend hours on an ongoing basis.

We don't schedule more than 4 sessions in any given day, to prevent injury or burnout.

The position is an on-call position. If there are no sessions scheduled, you would not be expected to be at work, though your schedule will typically be full days or weeks in advance. While most of our scheduled sessions are typically made 24 hours or more in advance, we do also take same-day appointments and provide our massage therapists with a four hour notification window for all same-day sessions, supported with automated email and text message notifications to enable easy management of schedules. All sessions have a 30 minute break between them for room turnover, physical and mental recovery, SOAP charting, and to allow time for some covid sanitization protocols.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

As far as we're aware, we offer one of the best – if not the best - compensation packages in Olympia for massage therapists. Our goal is to provide a mix of base hourly wage and per-service commission that provides our massage therapists with approximately 40% of the revenue from any session, plus all tips. Compensation includes the 30 minute transition period between sessions (that is, you're paid for that time).

INTERVIEW PROCESS

The interview process will include a 20-30 minute personal interview. If we feel like a good fit together, there will be a follow up 30 minute massage interview with one of our licensed practitioners.
