Description Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sr. Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, performing the necessary functions for financial statements, and using organizational budget for financial planning.Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.

Analyze business operations, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses and provide advice to management.

Support monthly close process and reconciliations, including preparing and posting journal entries.

Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.

Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Direct and coordinate the company's financial planning and budget process.

Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

Prepare financial documents such as business/individual tax returns, and other local, state, and federal fillings.

Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.

4+ years of accounting experience in a senior role.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles.

Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time management skills.

High level of proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to direct, manage, implement, and evaluate department operations and strategies.

Ability to work independently, while also collaborating in a team environment.
