Description Robert Half is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant for our local clients ongoing needs in the area. This role is ideal for an experienced accountant with a strong background in financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance. The Senior Accountant will oversee and perform a variety of accounting tasks, including financial reporting, account reconciliations, and assisting with audits. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, advanced knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. If you are passionate about accounting and ready to support our team, please apply now.Key Responsibilities: Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP Perform complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Manage general ledger activity, including journal entries and adjustments Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement Provide guidance and support to accounting staff as needed Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial operationsRequirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA preferred 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior accounting role Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
