Have ownership mindset and lead software development projects from conception to deployment and support including design, architecture, implementation and monitoring.
Mentor, guide, be a role model and raise the bar for junior engineers, fostering technical growth within the team.
Conduct code reviews, ensuring quality standards and best practices are followed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Proactive self-starter in identifying and resolving technical challenges, troubleshooting complex issues.
Contribute to the overall architecture and technology roadmap.
Own and deliver projects that include the product or platform and stakeholder teams.
Identify and design solutions to ambiguous, open-ended problems.
Deliver the team's goals on time and with high quality.
Define solutions and operational processes to level up the team.
Understands the business context and how it intersects with the team's goals.
Lead ambiguous projects or systems and create clarity for them.

REQUIREMENTS
5+ years progressive experience.
Strong collaboration and communication skills to foster and effectively work with highly inclusive and diverse teams.
Strong foundation in software design principles.
Experience building and working with microservices.
Expertise in Python or high-level, interpreted, object-oriented programming language.
Experience building scalable systems using public cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Experience working with kubernetes, cache systems (e.g. Redis), message queuing systems (e.g. RMQ, Kafka), workflow orchestrators (e.g. Nextflow), storage options and types (NAS, NFS, S3, S3 bucket).
Experience in building and enhancing continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD).
Experience working with Agile development methodologies and practices.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Experience working with Kubernetes.
Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality maintainable code.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex technical projects.
Deep understanding of the language, tools, libraries, and systems used by the team.
Experience in designing systems and APIs that are maintainable, debuggable, and observable.
Ability to decompose problems or business cases into right-sized components.
Proactive communication with stake holders to create win-win outcomes.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
Application Window: 10/4/24 – 10/25/24Pay Range: $77,000 - $162,000 annual salaryAll job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.The position is also eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus Plan.
