The senior data scientist performs advanced analysis, creates machine learning models, and modifies deep learning architectures. The senior data scientist is a technical leader and can mentor and lead junior data scientists in these projects. The senior data scientist works with a team of subject matter experts, data engineers, application developers, and business developers. For each project, the senior data scientist learns enough about the domain and the customer to identify the customer's data and analytic needs and then visualizes an end-to-end analytic solution. Finally, the senior data scientist codes this solution. RequirementsExpert in applying machine learning algorithms for optimizations, anomaly detections, regressions, classifications, and time series forecastMath skills (linear algebra, probability/stats)Good scripting skills in Python and SQLExperience in reinforcement learning, semi-supervised approaches, image analysis, NLP, and optimizations are a plus QualificationsEducation: Master's or PhD (PhD preferred) in math/stats or computer science.
