The Marketplace & ISV Journey team defines and drives the execution of our ISV and Marketplace business strategy. We will unify cross-Microsoft efforts to create opportunity and growth for breadth ISVs and a rich marketplace experience for customers using exceptional digital marketing, merchandising and commerce capabilities that make it easy to find, try and buy ISV applications.This specific role will lead commercial consumer product marketing for our ISV segment of products within our Commercial marketplace. This includes identifying, developing, and leading several commercial consumer marketing initiatives to create transactional opportunities and marketplace platform business growth.Responsibilities Defining and building the marketing strategy, customer segmentation, and go-to-market activities required to scale our Commercial Cloud Marketplace product marketing functions. Driving a connected marketing plan & Go To Market plan for commercial marketplace which enables organizations to work / learn remotely whilst increasing productivity You are the spokesperson of the entire Microsoft Cloud portfolio towards IT audiences, Developers, Business Decision Makers Procurement professionals and market influencers You will orchestrate the marketing launches of new products and features. Creating strategic plans and financial modelling for key marketing initiatives and owning the process of review with senior executives, leading to a set of discrete priority projects Building marketing product definition & work plan building capabilities required to help grow the business and eliminate bottlenecks Building the team, by assessing the, designing the org, prioritizing hires, hiring, onboarding, training, and setting each individual up for success. Working on cross-functional initiatives across our Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Field Ops, Data teams. Support Field Sales and Marketing training for effective worldwide roll-out of new initiatives and programs Owning and project managing the initiatives, reporting on the progress, performance, and recommended optimization in senior stakeholder forums Demonstrating ability to engage with and influence business teams to drive alignment, change and ultimately results. Innovating new internal and partner-facing ‘market-making’ capabilities to leverage, data, workflows, ML/AI to streamline, scale, and increase the efficacy of our marketing activities.QualificationsRequired/Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business

OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business

OR equivalent experience.

6+ years people management experience

Preferred Qualifications A strong sense of ownership and willingness to act as the business leader for the area(s) assigned Expertise in ISVs and/or SaaS/commercial marketplaces (Microsoft’s and/or competitors) Deeply customer/partner-centric with an understanding of target audiences (various partner types, small to large enterprises) A history of driving change and innovation, with the ability to not only identify areas of improvement but have a proven track record of creating executional plans that can scale globally to drive business impactA strong ability to build relationships, influence, and forge alignment across functions and solution areas Adept at communicating across diverse audiences (engineering, marketing, and partner executives) Interested in contributing to a diverse and inclusive team Ability to drive for results and find a path forward amid competing priorities Manage ambiguity well, as well as frame, analyze and solve complex problems 10+ years experience in product marketing or related fields 5+ years working in cloud computing or related technologies BS/BA degree, MBA preferredFor Colorado based residents, The salary range for the role ranges from 207468-237,133. At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
