The Devices Finance team is at the forefront of Microsoft’s strategic mission in Devices, working on exciting products including Surface, Xbox, HoloLens, and more.The Devices finance team is looking for a motivated individual with enthusiasm to take on a high impact role as a Senior Finance Manager , Fulf illment & Logistics in our Global Fulfillment and Logistics/Channel Team. The individual will lead our multi-year financial performance management process. In this role you will partner with the F&L Operations, Planning, Sourcing and NPI teams to connect our operational strategies to our long-term financial goals. You will also be responsible for in-year financial management which includes driving optimization and efficiencies to achieve near term and long-range margin objectives.This Finance role will be instrumental in supporting & influencing our operational strategies that are critical to enabling the success of Microsoft’s growing Devices business. The successful candidate will bring a combination of financial and technical insights, real world business experience, and leadership to drive superior financial results in close alignment with our business partners, ensure controls and compliance, while continuously looking for opportunities to improve processes and providing predictability by active monitoring of risks and opportunities.ResponsibilitiesPerform analysis and research of present and future financial performance from New Product Initiative (NPI) to the end of life (EOL) decisions and how they impact logistics & fulfillment (e.g., product launch model, storage and capacity negotiations, sourcing rates etc.).

Lead the execution of long-range business planning and forecasting process. Completeanalysis, modeling, and research to support preliminary and adjusted forecast cycles. Partners and solicits insight from business and other finance stakeholders.

Drive improved insight into the business, potentially including development, and reporting of KPI’s and performance metrics and scorecards, to drive organizational accountability and performance.

Aggressively manage cost, enable growth, ensure controllership and compliance through direct and indirect leadership competencies.

Understand business objectives and usecomplex data to analyze and provide insightful, fact-based data analysis and scenario modeling.

Develop and maintain effective business partnerships, manage competing priorities, and provide guidance based on data analysis in a white space environment. Comfortable in dealing with ambiguities.

Exhibit great communication skills and executive presence. The candidate should be comfortable supporting, auditing, and sometimes challenging business model assumptions all while adapting to a rapidly evolving environment.

Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements by reviewing and monitoring accuracy of financial documents and business processesand coordinating with business partners and compliance teams.

QualificationsRequired/Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 4+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience

OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 2+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience

OR equivalent experience

Prefferd QualificationsMust be able to create processes, build financial tools and manage financial transactions in a startup environment.

Strong business partnership experiencewith a track record of influencing the business through financial analysis and insight.

Adept at working at multiple altitudes, from strategic and high-level framing to detailed analysis.

Ability to drive simplicity within a complex and matrixed environment.

Excellent communication, cross-group collaboration and interpersonal skills; able to simplify complicated material in executive-ready manner.

Expert skills required in MS Excel, Power Pivot, Power BI

COGS, Manufacturing Operations and/or Supply Chain experience strongly preferred
