The Senior Analyst is also responsible resolving complex technical issues and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance system functionality and efficiency. The Senior Analyst also leads financial systems projects, coordinates with vendors, and supports the month-end close process, ensuring the Firm’s financial system systems operate smoothly and effectively.Job ResponsibilitiesServe as the firm’s Elite 3E billing, accounts payable, general ledger transactional support and assist finance stakeholders with investigating transactional issues as well as executing new setups in the system.Develop and implement proactive measures to prevent recurring issues, collaborating with the finance teams to address root causes and recommend enhancements and modifications that improve processes and user experience.Advise on transaction masking and assist with the resolution of balances differences.Plan, execute and monitor financial systems projects including and assist with the deployment of patches, updates, upgrades, modifications, and enhancements for the Firm’s financial systems.Design, develop, evaluate, and implement modifications and enhancements to improve system functionality and efficiency.Manage the financial systems support mailbox to resolve issues related to 3E and other financial systems, and track trends and develop and execute plans to proactively address them.Function as liaison between the Finance department and internal/external information technology stakeholders (i.e. information security and third-party consultants) to support the Firm’s financial systems interfaces and other relevant applications.Execute key tasks in the Firm’s month-end financial system close process including generating and validating proformas, preparing month-end reports and reconciling monthly WIP, A/R and GL balances.Maintain documentation on financial operation setups and master files.
