Senior Manager, Product Manager Tech, AWS Tech and Finance

DescriptionAWS Finance Technology team is looking for a highly motivated Product Management leader who will manage a team of Product Managers. In this role, you will partner with our software development teams in building financial systems for the global AWS business. The success of these systems will be instrumental to AWS’ ability to scale finance capabilities for a fast growing and increasingly complex global organization.This role will define, execute, and deliver the development and automation of complex reporting and analysis that delivers the right information to multiple layers of the global Amazon organization. You will participate in developing the strategy and vision for the team, and you will develop and maintain product roadmaps and features based on team strategy and vision. This role is inherently cross-functional and you will work closely with engineering, design, operations, finance and executive teams to launch core tools to support financial and business analyses for the global finance organization.This position requires a proactive, highly motivated individual with an aptitude for customer focus and critical thinking and who can initiate and manage strategic system development around the globe. This person will take ownership and drive positive change. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, is analytical, detail oriented, and possesses the ability to work well with cross-functional teams including world-wide AWS, finance, and software development teams.An ideal candidate is one who has passion to deliver innovative products and build a high-performance team. 6+ years of team management experience

Bachelor's degree

Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Preferred Qualifications

Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment

The base pay for this position ranges from $178,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $307,900/year in our highest geographic market.
