We are leading with innovation, as highlighted by our launches of Xbox Series X|S, XboxGame Pass, and Project xCloud.The Gaming Experiences and Platform team is looking for an experienced Product Managerto define andcoordinate development for experiences on the Xbox console.The Discover and Engage team strives to build experiences that help gamers discover their favorite kind of fun on Xbox. In this role, you will refine the vision for how customers find content to play, watch and listen to on their Xbox. You’ll work with partners across the company in Product Management, Development, Data, Design, User Research, and Marketing. You will also work with industry-leading 3rd party partners to understand their customer and business requirements, and ensure our solutions meet their needs.Who we’re looking forThe ideal candidate has strong customer empathy skills and the passion to understand the true needs of our fans and business partners. Effective communication and the ability to create clarity in ambiguous spaces are a must-have. The ability to partner with teammates of varying work styles, backgrounds, and skillsets with changing environments and priorities is imperative to being successful. Qualified candidates will create structure and make progress through challenges by being curious, creative, and organized. Previous experience working on experience-oriented consumer products, agile workplace fundamentals, and product experimentation are a plus.#gamingjobs #xboxResponsibilities· Gather requirements from internal and external partners· Size and pitch new investments for our experiences· Partner with Design to deliver a proposed experience· Coordinate with service and client development teams to deliver the end-to-end customer experience· Design data collection systems, and leverage those systems to evaluate and iterate on investmentsthrough defining OKRs, KPIs, and other metricsQualifications· 4-5 years of experience as a Product Manager in a customer-facing environment· Strong communication and influencing skills· Ability to independently conceive, plan, and execute on initiatives· Experience shipping end to end user experience scenarios· Demonstrable creativity and strategic thinkingMicrosoft is an equal opportunity employer.
