Find your future with us.Boeing Customer Finance is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Technical Asset Management Specialist to join the Technical and Trade-In Team in Renton, Washington . In this position, you will manage all technical aspects of transitioning used aircraft The Boeing Company owns through purchase, trade-in, lease return, or repossession to new customers. Aircraft technical transition activities include records review, maintenance checks, configuration modifications, international certification and registration changes.Position Responsibilities:
Support contract negotiations, develop and execute aircraft transition plans (strategy, schedule and budget), build and lead team of Boeing employees and third-party consultants, research part availability and select Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) providers
Once aircraft is transitioned, be focal for resolving technical issues during lease term, oversee in-service monitoring of aircraft, generate maintenance cost projections, and review and approve maintenance reserve reimbursement claims and other technical invoices
Collaborate with colleagues in Finance, Contracts, and Legal and maintain technical relationships with external parties including airline customers, maintenance providers, regulatory agencies, lessors, suppliers and manufacturers
Maintain subject matter expertise in designated topics, keeping current and providing support to colleagues; Undertake special projects as requested by Director of Technical Asset Management
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience working for Boeing, airlines, aircraft lessors and/or heavy maintenance organizations
3+ years of experience leading projects
3+ years of experience in a role that required project management skills
Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally for 20% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor's degree or hold a current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) license or European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) type rating
Knowledge of aircraft maintenance management, including planning and alignment of maintenance requirements and capturing and applying maintenance records
Formal project management training
Experience with additional languages
Experience interpreting and applying contracts
Experience in a role which required influencing and negotiation skills
