RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce is looking for a Software Design Engineer for an enterprise client in Redmond WA.
Responsibilities: In this role, the Software Design Engineer will be building Operational Excellence capabilities on our data platform; This includes writing complex logic using SQL code and stored procedures. Writing code in Python and deploying them to the cloud Design, build, and optimize data marts and ETL processes Provide development support and troubleshoot production data and/or system issues The Software Design Engineer will transform high volume complex data structures into relevant information that can be used in advanced analytics and machine learningREQUIREMENTS: BS in related technical field or equivalent work experience 5+ years of software development experience with at least 3 years focused on data engineering Proficient in cloud-based SQL and Data Warehouse technologies like Azure Synapse, Snowflake or Redshift Experience with ETL/ELT environments using Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Informatica or similar technologies Passion to learn new technologies and architect innovative cloud-based data solutions to solve challenging problems Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity, adapt and prioritize in fast paced environment Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with othersThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
