About the Role:

Title: Tech Lead

Duration: Ongoing project with no current end date

JD:

  • The position is for a Lead Software Engineer to work with a highly talented and energized team of Engineers to take care of design, development, and unit testing for Platform applications.
  • Work closely with business partners and stakeholders to provide solutions for business requirements.
  • Responsible for working with integration partners to establish application integrations with internal and external applications.
  • The role requires technical knowledge of Object-Oriented programming and demonstrated skills in C#. .NET, JavaScript,?Web HTML, Front, and Backend Systems Experience & Rest APIs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with Analysis, testing, and business owner teams to understand desired system functionality.
  • Primary developer for high-complexity functions.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to other development team members.
  • Provide development lead with work estimates.
  • Drive Technology Architecture decisions.
  • Create technical design documents.
  • Create a development environment.
  • Ensure that code meets development specifications and is maintainable (comments, supporting documentation).
  • Create and execute unit tests exercising the code’s functionality and compatibility with other features prior to turning the code over to the test team.
  • Communicate and defend design, requirements, feature set, functionality, and/or limitations of systems.
  • Resolve code issues raised by analysis or test teams.?
  • Work with developers and other project team members, MS product and program managers, and vendors to accomplish objectives.
  • Develop tools to aid the development process (e.g., basic test automation for all developers to run locally prior to check-in).
  • Participate in code reviews of other developers’ work.
  • Deliverables include Technical Architecture, Technical Design Specification, thoroughly commented Code and Technical User Guide.

Requirements:

  • We are looking for an expert in developing and deploying reliable full-stack JavaScript - React/C#/.NET REST API/SQL serverless applications in Azure.?
  • This includes securing, authenticating, deploying, and observing these web services.
  • Lead development team, assign tasks, conducted code & design reviews, and mentoring junior developers.
  • Ability to Interview and select candidates.

Must-Haves:

  • Strong, full-stack developer (JavaScript/REACT frontend, C#/.NET backend REST API, SQL database), with all components developed for and deployed in Azure using Azure Functions and Azure SQL Server.
  • Strong knowledge of git (command line) including GitHub features, GitHub Actions, and GitHub style pull requests.
  • Running reliable Azure data pipelines.
  • Database administration skills both for SQL Servers and CosmosDB.
  • Experience with project management tools like Azure DevOps (ADO), focusing on CI/CD in an Agile environment.
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $120k – $125k annually. Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
